We are only seven days away from the start of the Adriatic Festival, an event that, already in its first year, brings a rich program, inspiring speakers from the region and beyond, and young and talented people ready to share knowledge and learn from each other.
Through workshops and joint activities with the organizational team and its partners and media sponsors TV Vijesti, Metropolis and DRS, Adriatic Festival inspires, educates and supports young people in developing ideas and promoting their projects.
With the “Let’s support them” initiative, the festival opens a new chapter of togetherness and social responsibility, emphasizing the importance of cooperation between different sectors and generations.
As part of the youth support program, several interactive workshops will be held, moderated by some of the festival’s keynote speakers, further encouraging the exchange of knowledge, experiences, and inspiration.
By connecting creative arts and industry, business and youth development, Adriatic Festival shows that it is not just a cultural event, but a platform that unites creatives, partners and the community around shared values. The festival builds on the idea of collective support, through which everyone together contributes to something greater, the development and empowerment of young people.
Community is presented as a contemporary value that promotes empathy, inclusion, and shared growth, simply put, as the spirit of modern society.
This segment of the festival is being implemented in cooperation with project partners, the Parliament of Montenegro and NLB Bank, and will be focused on inspiring young people, exchanging knowledge and presenting young entrepreneurs who will have the opportunity to present their businesses and initiatives at the festival.
Jelka Malović, Head of the Library and Documentary Center and Archives of the Parliament of Montenegro, emphasizes her satisfaction with the cooperation and adds that the main goal is: “To inspire and involve young people in democratic processes, to present the new program ‘Parliament Hub – NextGen Leaders’, and through interaction and a workshop to collect feedback from young people on how the Parliament communicates with citizens, especially young people.”
Jelena Vujović, Director of Communications at NLB Bank, adds: “Through this segment, we want to encourage young people to become active participants in shaping the communications of institutions and organizations they are connected to, thus gaining the opportunity to interact with them at an advanced level. We believe that their creativity, energy and understanding of digital trends are key to creating authentic and two-way communication with new and future generations.”
Andrej Markešić, a member of the Adriatic Festival organizing team, says: “With the “Let’s support them” initiative, we want to provide young people with a space to express their ideas, learn from each other and be recognized as drivers of change. Our intention is to encourage them to believe in their voice, recognize opportunities and turn them into concrete actions, whether through creative industries, social engagement or innovative projects. The “Let’s support them” segment is designed as part of a program specifically intended for young people. We want to enable them to present their brands, work and successes, but also to give students the opportunity to participate in workshops, gain new knowledge, receive practical advice and tools, and of course, have a good time.
This initiative also represents a great opportunity for young people to network with other festival participants, which, in addition to new knowledge and experiences, opens the door to future collaborations and opportunities.
By launching the “Let’s support them” initiative, Adriatic Festival confirms its mission to be a platform that connects art, business and social responsibility, encouraging young people to actively engage in creating positive changes in the community.
